ARK Invest Rebalances Portfolio: Trims Tech, Adds Industrials and Biotech
Cathie Wood's ARK Invest executed a strategic portfolio rebalance on October 30, 2025, reducing exposure to high-flying tech stocks while accumulating positions in industrial and biotechnology sectors. The MOVE signals profit-taking in recent outperformers and a rotation into more defensive growth names.
The most significant transaction involved selling $8.06 million worth of Iridium Communications shares across multiple ETFs—the third such reduction this week. ARK also trimmed positions in Palantir Technologies ($3.97 million) and Advanced Micro Devices ($3.61 million), both beneficiaries of recent market rallies.
New capital deployments favored established industrials and precision agriculture, with ARK purchasing $5.94 million of Deere & Co. shares. The biotech sector saw fresh inflows through a $1.27 million position in Pacific Biosciences, complemented by smaller allocations to Intellia Therapeutics and Honeywell.
